Much of our work involves sandblasting timber beams and timber frames. Sandblasting beams is a quick cost effective way of cleaning without doing any damage to the wood. We blast timber old and new, whether it is removing gloss, paint, black marks, water stains or preparing the timber for woodworm treatment.
A lot of the beams we blast are in historic buildings. Sandblasting removes the top layer of the timber to remove the paint, marks or stains and leaves the beams looking clean and refreshed and the room looking a lot warmer and cosier.
We also blast new timber, when building some architects use oak frames, these frames can get marked while on site so we give the timber a gentle blast to leave them looking as good as new.
We can blast roof beams, lintels and timber frames, hardwood or softwood. We use fine abrasive to blast timber as the finer the abrasive the finer the finish. Our team love bringing the former glory back into old timber and we leave you with an amazing end result.
We cover many areas across Yorkshire including Haworth, Keighley, Bradford, Otley, Ilkley, Leeds, Clitheroe, Burnley, Colne, Skipton, Steeton, Halifax, Hebden Bridge and Mytholmroyd.
“Fantastic service!!! Paul sandblasted quite a lot of beams and timber in a house we had just purchased, as they were covered in layers of black gloss paint. With it being a listed building we were worried about the damage it may cause to the timber. We chose Paul as he was knowledgeable about blasting old timbers. He kept us informed throughout the process, doing test blasts on each of the beams we were worried about before continuing. We were left amazed with the results. An approachable and friendly person and arrived early for the job. Would recommend to anyone! Thanks Paul”
